Protecting Hawai'i's Natural Resources

Our island home is a unique and special place. To protect and preserve Hawai'i for our future generations we need to come together as a community to preserve our precious drinking water, coastal shorelines, and historical treasures. The Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility is a stark reminder of our natural resources’ fragility. Without solid policies in place, we could lose these natural resources forever.

Making Hawai'i Safer

Growing up in Hawai'i, people didn't lock their doors because our neighborhoods were safe.  Sadly, that is not our reality today. Through my service on the Neighborhood Board and serving our community by actively participating in neighborhood security watch, I am continuing to do my part in keeping our community safe.  It is difficult for law enforcement to do this alone. We need a Representative who will ensure strong policies to protect our neighbors from individuals who break the law and cause harm to others.

Making Hawai'i a Better Place to Live

Local people are being priced out of Hawai'i. The high cost of living and lack of affordable housing requires even more sacrifice from our local families. We need to diversify our economy by attracting new business and sectors to Hawai'i while making investments in infrastructure to revitalize areas in our urban core to  increase our affordable housing inventory.
