Aloha! My name is Cory Chun. I’m running to continue serving as your District 35 State Representative.
From representing people with disabilities, to fighting for cancer patients, their caregivers and families, I want to continue working for District 35 on our community issues to make our home a better place to live. Mahalo for your support.
A dedicated public servant and community leader
In addition to serving for 14 years on the Waipahū Neighborhood Board, Cory Chun has dedicated his career to public service. His extensive experience includes advocacy in civil rights, public health, public policy, and public assistance in navigating government services in nonprofits. He also has direct experience in legislative matters from his time at Hawaiʻi State Legislature and the Honolulu City Council.
Priorities
During his first term in office, Cory worked on legislation to address public safety issues such as illegal fireworks and gambling houses, access to mental health, help for our missing kupuna, and improving the state’s long term care system. He has also worked to make sure the district schools have the resources to deliver quality education and services.
